Elite offers an exceptional Camp training program to our clients who prefer the convenience of having their pet fully trained with minimal participation and fast results. Our goal is to have your dog succeed with his/her own customized training program which will be achieved by the use of consistent corrections and positive reinforcement methods. By having your dog stay at our Camp we are able to maximize the training time spent with him/her on a daily basis. Elite also specializes in providing Camp training for dogs that are aggressive or have other serious behavioral issues that owners are not comfortable with addressing at home.

How it works

Your dog will stay at our boarding facility located on the premises of Elite’s Center and will work daily with our trainers. Our Realistic Training Method™ encompasses not only command training but also real life situation training. Elite will train your dog to respond appropriately and safely to every day, real life circumstances such as getting into a car, walking up and down stairs, waiting at doors for entrance and exit, and stopping at street corners before proceeding. Training will be conducted in both the indoors and outdoors in order for your pet to become accustomed to being in a world full of distractions such as people, other dogs and animals, cars and vehicles, and unfamiliar sounds. Upon completion of the training program your trainer will thoroughly explain all of the commands and exercises that your dog has learned. You will receive written instructions on these commands and exercises which you can take home and use for maintenance. Elite guarantees that your dog will understand and perform the commands outlined in their specific training program. If at any time your dog displays difficulty with maintaining those commands and exercises that were included in his/her training program, please contact us and we will be glad to schedule a follow-up reinforcement appointment free of charge

What to Bring

Our boarding facility will provide your dog will all of his/her basic daily requirements including our high quality food diet. Should he/she require a specialized diet and /or supplements, we ask that you bring enough for their stay which we will gladly administer. For those of you who have your dog on a preventive program (Sentinel, Heartguard etc.) we ask that you bring it along as well. Personal items such as toys, treats, beds, blankets, leashes and bowls should NOT be brought with you. Elite’s kennel and large play area will ensure that your pet has a very enjoyable stay while under our care.

Vaccinations

All pets entering our Camp program must provide proof of current vaccinations including rabies and bordatella.
